Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Manage relationships with transporters, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners.
- Track shipments and resolve any transportation-related issues.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory availability.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for order fulfilment and stock movement.
- Implement best practices to minimize inventory discrepancies.
- Negotiate freight rates and service agreements with logistics providers.
- Ensure proper documentation of shipments, invoices, and customs requirements.
- Analyse logistics expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy in supply chain operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree is Preferred.
- Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and software.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a rapid-paced environment.
- Knowledge of customs regulations, import/export procedures, and transport management is a plus.
