The Account Director is responsible for leading strategic client relationships, driving business growth, ensuring successful project delivery, and overseeing account profitability. This role serves as the primary point of contact for key clients, aligning internal teams with client objectives while identifying opportunities for expansion and long-term partnership development.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Act as the senior escalation point for client concerns and service-related issues.
- Conduct regular business reviews and strategic planning meetings with clients.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Business Development & Growth
- Identify opportunities for account expansion and cross-selling services.
- Lead contract renewals, commercial negotiations, and pricing discussions.
- Develop annual account growth strategies and revenue plans.
- Drive new business opportunities within existing client portfolios.
Strategic Account Management
- Understand clients' business objectives and align service offerings accordingly.
- Provide strategic recommendations to improve client outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
Project & Operational Oversight
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to agreed quality standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams including Operations, Design, Production, Procurement, and Logistics.
- Monitor project risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Ensure adherence to client SLAs and contractual obligations.
Financial Management
- Manage account profitability and revenue targets.
- Monitor budgets, margins, and cost controls.
- Track invoicing, collections, and payment follow-ups.
- Prepare account forecasts and financial reports.
