Role Overview
What You'll Do
- Build reusable, well-tested UI components using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Translate designs and wireframes into responsive, accessible interfaces
- Integrate front-end code with REST or GraphQL APIs
- Contribute to backend services and endpoints (e.g., Node.js/Express) alongside the backend team
- Optimize components for performance across browsers and devices
- Collaborate with the team through code reviews, standups, and planning
- Debug, troubleshoot, and improve existing features
What We're Looking For
- [0-2]+ years of experience building web apps with React
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience with TypeScript
- Familiarity with state management libraries and React hooks
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
- Basic backend experience (e.g., Node.js, Express, or a similar server-side stack)
- Familiarity with at least one cloud platform ([AWS / Azure / GCP / Vercel])
- Experience with version control (Git)
- Solid grasp of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team
Nice to Have
- Experience with Next.js or another SSR framework
- Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or serverless functions
- Familiarity with testing tools (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
- Experience with UI libraries like Tailwind CSS, Material UI, or shadcn/ui
- A portfolio, GitHub profile, or examples of past work
