LEAD MILLWORK DESIGNER

Living Luxuries (LIVIT) is a well-established, 14-year-old company specialising in bespoke fitted furniture and architectural millwork. We are looking for an experienced Lead Millwork Designer to join our team in Gurugram.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop detailed drawings for Doors, Wall Panelling, Kitchens, Wardrobes, Vanities and other Bespoke Fitted Furniture.
- Prepare detailed design and working drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Have a strong understanding of millwork construction, materials, hardware, finishes and execution detailing.
- Understand site conditions, measurements and practical execution requirements, and translate them accurately into drawings.
- Visit sites as required and coordinate design details with site and execution teams.
- Independently lead client meetings and design discussions, understand client requirements and provide practical design solutions.
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, clients, production teams, vendors and installation teams.




- Review drawings and details from a manufacturing and installation perspective to ensure smooth execution.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and design timelines.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design / Architecture / Furniture Design preferred.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Strong understanding of fitted millwork, joinery and cabinetry detailing.
- Good understanding of site execution and installation processes.
- Solid communication skills with the confidence and maturity to interact directly with clients, architects and consultants.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to independently manage design coordination.

EXPERIENCE:
8-10 years of relevant experience required, preferably with substantial experience in:
Doors | Wall Panelling | Kitchens | Wardrobes | Vanities | Bespoke Millwork & Fitted Furniture
