We're looking for a skilled WordPress developer to rebuild and optimize our website for speed, user experience, and better visibility in Google and AI search.
Responsibilities:
- Rebuild and optimize a WordPress website with a mobile first approach
- Improve site structure, merge or remove low value pages
- Handle technical and on page SEO, including schema, internal linking, sitemaps, and Core Web Vitals
- Manage SEO tools, analytics, and Search Console
- Help build simple SEO tools using APIs in the future
Requirements:
- 2+ years of WordPress development experience (PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with custom themes and WooCommerce
- Strong technical and on page SEO knowledge
- Experience improving page speed and Core Web Vitals
- Valuable written English
Preferred:
- API integration experience
- Familiarity with Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz
- Knowledge of AI search optimization
- Git experience
