Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Donor Counseling: Conduct pre-donation counseling to educate donors and post-donation counseling to explain "Dos and Don'ts".
- Donor Motivation & Recruitment: Motivate and recruit voluntary donors, encouraging them to return for future donations.
- Reactive Donor Management: Handle confidential TTI (Transfusion Transmitted Infections) counseling, informing reactive donors (HIV/HBV/HCV/Syphilis) of their status and referring them to Integrated Counselling and Testing Centres (ICTC).
- Record Management: Maintain meticulous,
confidential records of all donors and blood camp details in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Feedback Collection: Collect donor feedback to improve service quality.
- Collaboration: Work with the technical team to identify rare blood types and facilitate blood collection.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Master of Social Work (MSW) or MSc in Psychology/Sociology/Education.
- Experience: Minimum 6 months - 1 year of experience in a licensed blood center or healthcare setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and skilled communication for sensitive counseling.
