Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, vessel agency, and related services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, exporters, importers, freight customers, and logistics partners.
- Conduct market research to identify business opportunities and competitor activities.Generate leads through networking, client visits, referrals, and cold calling.
- Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and presentations tailored to customer requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms to close business deals.
- Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets.
- Coordinate with operations and documentation teams for seamless service execution.
- Ensure regular follow-up with clients for inquiries, quotations,



and business conversions.
- Maintain MIS reports, sales pipeline updates, and business development reports.
- Support payment follow-up and commercial coordination where required.
- Graduation in any discipline (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in Shipping / Logistics Sales
- Solid knowledge of shipping, freight forwarding, port operations, and logistics services
- Existing client network in Mumbai market will be an added advantage
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-driven with strong business development capabilities
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
