Tendering Expert - Job Description

Position Summary

The Tendering Expert shall be responsible for identifying business opportunities, managing the complete tendering process, preparing techno-commercial proposals, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring successful participation in government, PSU, private sector, infrastructure, architecture, urban development, industrial, and PMC consultancy tenders.

Key Responsibilities1. Tender Identification & Analysis
- Monitor e-procurement portals, government websites, PSU portals, and private sector tender opportunities.
- Review RFPs, RFQs, EOIs, NITs, and bid documents.
- Assess eligibility criteria, technical requirements, financial criteria, and project risks.
- Prepare bid/no-bid analysis and management recommendations.

2. Bid Preparation & Submission
- Prepare technical and financial proposals in compliance with tender requirements.
- Compile company credentials,



project experience, CVs of key experts, and statutory documents.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, planners, estimators, and finance teams for bid inputs.
- Ensure timely submission of bids through e-tendering platforms and physical submissions where required.

3. Costing & Commercial Evaluation
- Prepare fee estimates, man-month calculations, resource planning, and commercial bids.
- Analyze tender conditions and contractual obligations.
- Evaluate project profitability and commercial risks.
- Prepare comparative statements and bid pricing strategies.

4. Contract & Compliance Management
- Review contract conditions, special conditions, and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, certifications, registrations, and declarations.
- Coordinate for EMD, Bid Security, Performance Guarantees, and Bank Guarantees.
- Maintain tender documentation and records.
