Core Responsibilities
- News Gathering: Researching, reporting, and investigating news stories to keep the public informed.
- Content Production: Writing, editing, and submitting articles, video scripts, or audio recordings for publication or broadcast.
- Interviewing: Conducting interviews with witnesses, experts, or key figures to gather information.
- Verification: Fact-checking information and adhering to ethical standards to maintain accuracy.
- Multimedia Integration: Taking photos, recording video, and using social media to complement stories.
- Networking: Building and maintaining a network of contacts to source stories.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Communication: Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Digital Literacy: Proficiency with content management systems (CMS), social media platforms, and media production software.
- Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze information, stay objective, and identify newsworthy stories.
- Deadline Management: Ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
