impact across India, we are looking for a finance skilled who can strengthen our financial systems,

ensure compliance, and support sound financial decision-making.

Role Summary

The Manager - Accounts & Finance will be responsible for overseeing the organization's finance and

accounting function, ensuring robust financial management, statutory compliance, budgeting, donor

financial stewardship, and cash flow planning. The role will work closely with the CEO, program teams,

auditors, banks, statutory authorities, and an outsourced accounting partner to ensure accurate financial

reporting, strong financial controls,



and effective financial management.

The role will serve as a strategic finance partner to the leadership team, enabling informed

decision-making through sound financial planning, analysis, and stewardship.

As a member of the Extended Leadership Team (XLT), the Manager - Accounts & Finance will

contribute to organizational strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and strengthening Makkala Jagriti's

systems, culture, and long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Cash Flow Management
- Prepare and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual cash flow forecasts.
- Monitor organizational liquidity and identify potential funding gaps.
- Monitor grant timelines, expected donor inflows, project commitments, and cash flow

requirements across multiple funding sources (including FCRA, local, and donor-specific

accounts) to proactively identify funding gaps and support timely fina
