Key Responsibilities
- Create and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
- Develop productive database schemas, indexing strategies, and relational data models.
- Analyze database performance and implement optimization techniques to improve response times and scalability.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across all database environments.
- Perform database backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery planning.
- Support database migrations, upgrades, and deployment activities.
- Translate business requirements into optimized database structures and technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot database issues and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, database standards, and operational procedures.
- Implement best practices for database governance, access control, and security compliance.

Required Technical Skills
- 6 years of hands-on experience in SQL Server database development.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries,



stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
- Experience with SQL Server performance tuning, execution plan analysis, indexing, and query optimization.
- Strong understanding of relational database concepts, normalization, and database design.
- Experience in backup & recovery, replication, high availability, and database maintenance.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and large-scale data migration.
- Familiarity with database security, user permissions, and access management.
- Working knowledge of Git or similar version control systems is an advantage.
- Exposure to Azure SQL, AWS RDS, or other cloud-based database platforms is desirable.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- SQL Server or Microsoft database certifications will be an added advantage.
