Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Design & Engineering team.
- Review customer enquiries, technical specifications, and project requirements.
- Prepare and approve General Arrangement (GA) Drawings, Manufacturing Drawings, Fabrication Drawings, and Assembly Drawings.
- Perform design calculations for pressure-containing equipment and piping components.
- Ensure compliance with ASME, ANSI, API, ASTM, MSS, ISO, and other applicable international standards.
- Coordinate with Sales, Production, Purchase, QA/QC, and Project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review customer comments and incorporate revisions into engineering documents.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM)



and material specifications.
- Support procurement in technical evaluation of materials and vendor drawings.
- Resolve design and manufacturing issues during fabrication.
- Standardize product designs to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure timely submission of engineering documents to customers.
- Conduct design reviews and mentor junior design engineers.
- Maintain engineering records, drawing revisions, and document control.
- Participate in customer meetings for technical discussions whenever required.
- Drive continuous improvement in design processes and engineering productivity.

Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- M.E. (Mechanical) is an added advantage.

Experience
- 8-15 years of experience in mechanical design.
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading an engineering/design team.
- Experience in Industrial Strainers, Pressure Vessels, Valves
