As a Staff Accountant in Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting at NIQ, you will play a critical role in supporting the company’s external financial reporting and technical accounting functions. You will be instrumental in assisting with the preparation of consolidated financial statements and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings in accordance with U.S. GAAP and consolidated statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS, assisting with maintaining compliance with SOX internal controls and supporting complex accounting areas.

Responsibilities -

Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of draft SEC filings including Form’s10-Q, 10-K and 8-K reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of supporting documentation for disclosures included in external reporting documents.
- Support the tie-out validation procedures and maintain supporting documentation on other externally released financial information including, but not limited to, annual proxy, investor presentations, earnings releases, etc.




- Support ongoing collaboration cross-functionally with Investor Relations, Treasury, International subsidiaries and internal/external auditors to gather and validate financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of legal entity financial statements, including IFRS statutory reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly stock compensation expense calculations
- Support the preparation of schedules and other documentation in accordance with the Company's internal controls, quarterly financial close process, disclosure checklist and the quarterly and annual SEC reporting calendar.
- Support account analysis, footnote tie-outs and supporting schedules.
- Assist in the external audit process by providing timely and accurate supporting documentation.
