The Chikan Label is a Lucknow-based authentic Chikankari brand. We started in 2018, we are a D2C business selling on our own website (Shopify), Myntra, Nykaa, Etsy, Amazon, and Ajio. Our team of 22 people is on a mission to take authentic Lucknowi Chikankari craft to the world.

The Role

We are hiring a full time Accounts Manager to own our complete finance function. You will be the first dedicated finance hire in the company and will work directly with the founders. This role is for someone who wants real ownership — not just a job title.

Key Responsibilities
- Daily bookkeeping in Zoho Books — invoices, vendor accounts, petty cash, bank entries
- Weekly marketplace reconciliation — Myntra, Nykaa, Amazon, Ajio, Etsy (settlements, commissions, RTO deductions, TDS 194-O)
- Payment gateway reconciliation — Razorpay, PayPal, Payoneer
- Weekly P&L;, Cash Flow Statement, and Balance Sheet
- GST filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), TDS returns, PF and ESI challans
- Payroll processing for 22 team members including PF/ESI calculations




- International payment accounting — Payoneer USD receipts, forex entries, export GST (zero-rated)
- Inventory valuation tracking
- OD account and loan EMI tracking — monthly debt health report
- CA audit support, ROC filing coordination, compliance documentation

Who You Are
- 1-2 years in accounting — e-commerce, retail, or D2C brand experience strongly preferred
- Hands-on with Zoho Books (non-negotiable) — Tally is a bonus
- You have actually reconciled marketplace settlements before, not just assisted
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA Finance
- Comfortable with Excel — pivot tables, VLOOKUP, MIS reports
- Know GST end to end — GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, input credit
- Trustworthy and detail-oriented — you will see everything in this business
- Available to join within 30 days
