About the Role

VAEYON is building a new generation of premium activewear inspired by the landscapes, craftsmanship, and everyday movement.

We're hiring our first Social Media Manager to build and own our social presence from the ground up. This is a hands-on role: you'll be shooting, editing, posting, and engaging — not just planning.

What You'll Own
- Content calendar & strategy across Instagram and YouTube Shorts/Reels
- Shooting and editing short-form video content for the brand
- Community management — comments, DMs, and building genuine engagement
- Coordinating with creators/talent for content collaboration as needed
- Performance tracking — engagement, follower growth, and content performance reporting to founders
- Brand voice consistency across all touchpoints as we scale into paid social

What We're Looking For
- 2-4 years of experience managing a brand's social media presence — ideally having run an account largely solo, not just executing within a larger team
- Hands-on video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Rush, or similar)



— you should be comfortable self-shooting and editing reels, not dependent on a separate editor
- Solid short-form copywriting and visual/content instincts
- Comfort with Canva or similar tools for static/carousel content
- Basic paid social literacy (Meta Ads familiarity is a plus, even if not running spend from day one)
- Sound judgment on brand risk — comfortable handling comments, DMs, and sensitive interactions professionally
- Prior experience in fashion, activewear, athleisure, or D2C is a strong plus, but not mandatory if your portfolio shows strong organic growth work
- Based in Chennai, available to be on-site for content shoots and founder collaboration
