We are looking fora Component Engineer - Brakes

As a Brakes Component Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, maintainability, safety and LCC support of brake system which are running in the service (Metros, EMUs, and locomotives).



Brakes component engineer bridges engineering design team, maintenance team, and suppliers for achieving system availability without compromising on safety standards and compliances aligning technology roadmaps with business goals

You’ll make a difference by
- Supporting the brake systems running across multiple rolling stock platforms globally (Metros, EMUs, and locomotives)
- Support installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and brake system performance validation on test tracks or at customer sites if required- Understanding the system and troubleshooting of the brake components
- Regular fleet performance monitoring to ensure the system availability
- Provide the engineering support to depot maintenance teams for resolving technical queries
- Co-ordinate with the brake system suppliers for the supplier quality issues and warranty support
- Performing the RCA (Root Cause Analysis) on brake system failures and sup
