Position Purpose:
The role holder will be responsible for the strategic planning, direction, coordination and supervision of Research & Development activities of Biologicals. The role holder will lead and enable cutting edge Biological products focused on crop protection, biostimulants & improving soil health and guide the testing of new products. The role holder will lead in identifying and incorporating new technologies, building national and international collaborations to achieve progress in technological innovations. Position is responsible for increasing the company's success in overall biological portfolio/formulations by delivering sustainable flow of products on medium to long term. This position is responsible for creating and managing IP, personnel and budget for biological research & development.



Supporting the assessment / evaluation of recent technology opportunities.

Strategic Responsibilities:
- Ensure implementation of research strategy according to the Biologicals company goals.
- Lead the creation of a screening strategy for biologicals including Biopesticides, biostimulants and soil health products.
- Build and foster a Masterplan for next phases of discovery & pre-development activities
- Support 3rd Party/Partnership relationship development such as academic institutions & research organizations

Research Documentation
- Develop norms for documenting and filing of research results, methods developed and managing technical knowledge.
- Oversee and ensure adherence to these norms as well as general internal policies, industry standards, regulatory guidelines and environmental safety protocols by research teams.
