Job Title: Store Assistant - Printing & Packaging

To assist in the day-to-day operations of the store/warehouse, including receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining raw materials, consumables, and finished goods required for printing and packaging production. Ensure proper stock management and documentation as per company standards.

Responsibilities:
- Key Responsibilities:
- Receive raw materials, inks, paper, boards, films, and other packaging consumables from suppliers.
- Check quantity and quality of incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Maintain proper records of material receipts, issues, and stock balance in ERP/manual register.
- Organize and store materials systematically to avoid damage, mix-ups, and wastage.
- Issue materials to production department as per requisition slips.
- Assist in monthly/quarterly stock-taking and reconciliation.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels; report shortages or excess stock to Store In-charge.
- Ensure FIFO (First In First Out) method for issuing raw materials and consumables.




- Handle packing materials, cartons, tapes, and other items required for dispatch.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in store area.
- Support dispatch team in loading/unloading of finished goods when required.
- Coordinate with purchase, accounts, and production departments for smooth flow of materials.

Skills:
- Basic knowledge of storekeeping practices in manufacturing/printing industry.
- Familiar with paper, board, film, inks, adhesives, and packaging consumables.
- Ability to maintain records manually and/or in ERP/MS Excel.
- Positive physical fitness to handle loading/unloading work.
- Attention to detail, honesty, and discipline in stock handling.

Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum 12th pass; diploma/graduate preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in stores/warehouse (preferably in printing & packaging industry).
- Knowledge of inventory management systems will be an added advantage.
