Phenom is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist - Software Procurement to join our growing team. This role involves managing end-to-end software purchasing activities, negotiating with vendors, handling renewals, coordinating internal approvals, and ensuring cost optimization across software contracts and subscriptions.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with software vendors, licensing models, contract negotiations, and cross-functional teams such as Security, Privacy, Legal, Finance, and IT.
Key Responsibilities( What you will do )
Sourcing & Evaluation: Research, evaluate,



and source software/SaaS solutions aligned with business requirements and technical specifications.
Negotiation & Contracting: Lead pricing, commercial terms, renewal, and contract negotiations with software vendors to maximize value and minimize risk.
Procurement Execution: Manage the full procurement lifecycle from Purchase Request (PR) to Purchase Order (PO) within ERP/procurement systems.
Renewal & Lifecycle Management: Track and manage software renewals, subscriptions, invoicing, and post-PO activities; maintain renewal calendars and escalation protocols.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Drive approval workflows with Security, Privacy, Legal, Finance, and IT teams; ensure all governance checkpoints are completed.
Inventory & Documentation: Maintain an accurate software inventory, licensing records, entitlements, and centralized contract documentation.
Cost Optimization: Monitor actual software usage against licensed entitlements; identify and recomm
