Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Psychological Assessments: Perform comprehensive assessments to determine children's developmental and mental health needs.
- Develop Treatment Plans: Create individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, addressing specific psychological and behavioral challenges.
- Provide Therapy Sessions: Conduct therapy sessions to help children overcome psychological and behavioral issues.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with occupational therapists, special educators, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to each child's development.
- Monitor Progress:
Regularly monitor and document children's progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Support Parents and Caregivers: Offer guidance and support to parents and caregivers, helping them understand and manage their child's needs.
- Facilitate Group Sessions: Conduct group therapy sessions to promote social skills and generalization of learned behaviors.
- Maintain Records: Keep detailed records of children's progress and generate reports for analysis and review.
- Conduct Training: Provide training and guidance to new therapists, fostering a cooperative and cohesive work workplace.
