Job Summary

The Legal Head – Revenue is responsible for overseeing and managing all legal, regulatory, and compliance matters related to the organization’s real estate and construction operations. This role plays a critical part in property acquisition, documentation, approvals, revenue transactions, RERA compliance, and litigation management. The Legal Head will act as a key legal advisor to senior management, ensure risk mitigation, support revenue-generating activities, and lead the legal function to ensure full statutory and contractual compliance across projects.

Key Responsibilities
1. Legal Strategy & Advisory
Advise senior management on real estate, revenue, and legal compliance matters.
Provide legal guidance on land acquisition, development agreements, joint ventures, and sales transactions.
Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks.
Support management in strategic business decisions.
2. Property & Title Due Diligence
Conduct and oversee title verification for land and property transactions.
Review title deeds, agreements, ECs, RTCs, Khata, revenue records,



and other documents.
Ensure properties have transparent and marketable titles before acquisition.
Coordinate with external advocates, surveyors, and legal consultants.
3. Documentation & Contracts
Draft, review, and vet legal documents such as:
Sale Deeds and Agreements to Sell
MOUs and JDAs
Power of Attorney
Lease and Conveyance Deeds
Ensure contracts protect the company's interests and comply with applicable laws.
Maintain proper legal and contract records.
4. RERA & Statutory Compliance
Ensure compliance with RERA, local laws, and applicable real estate regulations.
Manage RERA registrations, filings, disclosures, and updates.
Monitor compliance timelines and coordinate with internal teams.
Handle regulatory notices, audits, and communications.
5. Litigation & Dispute Management
Manage legal disputes related to land, property, revenue, customers, vendors, and contractors.
