Job Title – Senior Data Engineer - Support
The Purpose of This Role
Fidelity’s Workplace Investing Data Engineering is seeking a senior data Engineer to lead the stability, resilience, and operational excellence of critically significant production reporting applications.
This role is focused on ensuring high availability, reliability, and observability of enterprise reporting platforms built on Power BI, OAS/OBIEE., Informatica, Oracle Exadata and evolving to AWS and Snowflake.
You will play a key role in modernizing reporting systems, strengthening operational controls, improving platform resilience, and supporting cloud migration initiatives, while maintaining flawless production performance for business-critical workloads.
The Expertise You Have
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any other discipline
5-6 years of experience in DevOps, Data Engineering or Production Support
The Skills that are Key to this role
Hands-on administration experience with Power BI, OAS/OBIEE
Experience supporting enterprise reporting platforms in production




Strong Linus/Unix experience
Extensive experience with Oracle / PL-SQL
Strong experience with Informatica ETL
Experience working in Data warehouse environment
Experience participating in production on-call rotations.
Experience with AWS, Snowflake, Airflow
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
Programming experience in Python, Java or C
Experience implementing observability solutions (monitoring, logging, alerting)
