Scope:
Lead a team of software engineers within the Returns Development organization, providing technical direction, people leadership, execution discipline, and coaching.
Partner closely with Product Management, UX, Cloud Operations, Support, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality returns capabilities aligned to roadmap commitments and customer outcomes.
Drive enterprise engineering practices that improve quality, scalability, reliability, performance, security, maintainability, and operational readiness across services and applications.
What you’ll do:
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing engineering team, creating clarity of priorities, accountability, and growth opportunities.
Own delivery execution for assigned Returns Development roadmap commitments, ensuring predictable planning, high-quality delivery, and transparent communication of progress, risks, and dependencies.
Provide technical leadership in design and implementation discussions, helping the team make sound architectural decisions for scalable, performant, secure, and maintainable solutions.




Partner with Product Management to translate roadmap priorities, customer needs, and business outcomes into well-defined engineering plans and releases.
Drive Agile delivery practices, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, execution tracking, retrospectives, and continuous improvement.
Improve engineering excellence through code quality, automated testing, CI/CD practices, observability, operational readiness, defect reduction, and root cause analysis.
Manage cross-functional dependencies with adjacent product, platform, cloud, support, and implementation teams to ensure successful end-to-end solution delivery.
Support customer escalations and production issues by ensuring timely technical investigation, transparent communication, and durable corrective actions.
Build team capability through hiring, onboarding, mentoring, performance management, and succession planning.
