Chief Operating Officer (COO) Operations

About the Role: Gujarat Foodtech LLP is a rapidly scaling FMCG and food processing company operating a state-of-the-art, 100,000 sq. facility. We are seeking a highly autonomous Chief Operating Officer (COO). The COO will act as the defacto CEO of operations, taking full ownership of the Goblej plant, scaling our B2B/HoReCa brand (*Sunshine*) & Export brand *(Epichef)* , and driving OEM/Contract Manufacturing partnerships.

Core Responsibilities
- Production Management: Oversee plant operations, batch cooking, bottling lines, equipment maintenance, and daily output schedules.
- Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to food safety laws, hygiene standards (like HACCP or ISO), and workplace safety rules.
- Supply Chain & Procurement:



Manage raw material and packing material sourcing, vendor contracts, and inventory levels.
- Logistics & Distribution: Coordinate warehousing, cold-chain storage if needed, and on-time shipping to super stockists, distributors, or OEM clients.
- Process Improvement: Apply lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methods to cut waste, lower unit costs, and improve profit margins.
- Financial Oversight: Manage operating budgets, capital expenditures for new factory machinery, and P&L; performance.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 15+ years of leadership experience in FMCG, Food Processing, or Condiments, with at least 3-5 years managing a full P&L.;
- Solid commercial acumen with a proven track record of scaling domestic B2B sales and OEM partnerships.
- Exceptional ability to manage operations via data-driven dashboards and MIS.
