Senior Database Administrator SQL Server & Snowflake

Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior Database Administrator with strong hands-on experience in SQL Server and Snowflake to support enterprise data platform operations, production environments, database upgrades, migrations, monitoring, security, automation, and platform reliability.

The candidate will work closely with Data Engineering, Application Development, Analytics, Infrastructure, BI, and other technical and business teams.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Data Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in SQL Server administration, including configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, security, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Strong hands-on experience in Snowflake administration, including warehouse management, RBAC, user access, database and schema administration, monitoring, performance optimization,



and platform support.
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server upgrades or database migrations, including planning, testing, troubleshooting, validation, and post-upgrade support.
- Robust SQL and T-SQL development and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience supporting production database environments, operational incidents, scheduled jobs, access requests, and platform maintenance.
- Working knowledge of Azure data platform services, including Azure Storage, ADLS Gen2, Azure Key Vault, or related services.
- Working knowledge of Python scripting for automation, monitoring, reporting, validation, and operational support. Advanced Python development experience is not required.
