•The position in discussion is with the Audit team at KPMG Resource Centre Private Limited (KRCPL), which is KPMG’s global delivery center and is an integral part of the firm’s strategy to enhance innovation, build scalability, and improve profitability, globally.
•KRC Audit is a fast-growing team that is servicing KPMG’s European audit clients and few other countries. Majority of our work is for the UK audit practice, but we are also serving KPMG - Holland, Australia, Cayman Island, Channel Island, Bermuda, Switzerland and UAE. We are looking at ways of growing the number of countries we serve.
•You will be part of a recent Assurance team for the UK geography which is outlined below. This team will play a key part in KPMG delivering the assurance that stakeholders increasingly demand over the complex and judgmental area of Tax in the financial statements.
•As part of the Audit of Tax CoE you will be provided with the opportunity to support audit engagement teams with their audit quality efforts to deliver complex and judgmental assurance activities. You will have the exposure of working on a wide range of clients from listed to owner managed businesses across a variety of industries and reporting in line with UK GAAP (FRS101/ FRS102) and IFRS.

Roles & responsibilities
Work closely with Managers to deliver high-quality outputs in line with applicable tax accounting standards and auditing requirements
Perform and take ownership of the first-level review of audit of tax documentation in accordance with KPMG quality standards and the internal Assurance Manual
Support walkthroughs and risk assessment processes, contributing to the identification of key risk areas within audit of tax engagements
Proactively identify and resolve day-to-day issues arising during engagement d
