Job Description – Welder (Alloy Industry)

Position: Welder
Experience: 3–4 Years
Industry: Alloy / Engineering Industry
Location: Halol, Vadodara, Gujarat
Working Hours: 8 Hours per Day
Overtime: Paid Overtime Available

Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fabrication work on industrial machinery, structures, pipelines, and alloy/metal components.
- Carry out Arc, MIG, TIG, or Gas welding as required for different applications.
- Read and understand basic engineering drawings and welding symbols.
- Prepare, fit, align, and weld metal components as per required dimensions and specifications.
- Perform cutting, grinding, drilling, and other fabrication-related activities.
- Inspect weld joints for quality, strength, and defects.
- Carry out repair and modification welding as required.
- Maintain welding machines, tools, and equipment in proper working condition.
- Follow required welding procedures and workplace safety standards.
- Maintain good housekeeping and use appropriate PPE at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications




- ITI Welder / relevant technical qualification preferred.
- 3–4 years of relevant industrial welding experience, preferably in alloy, steel, foundry, casting, or heavy engineering industries.
- Valuable knowledge of welding techniques, electrodes, welding machines, and consumables.
- Ability to perform quality welding with proper finishing and alignment.
- Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and measurements.
- Ability to identify and rectify common welding defects.
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
