AM- New Product Development

Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end NPD activities from customer drawing/RFQ to SOP.
- Review customer drawings, specifications, GD&T; and technical requirements.
- Conduct manufacturing feasibility for casting and machining components.
- Coordinate development of patterns, dies, core boxes, fixtures, gauges and machining tools.
- Develop and optimize casting processes including gating, risering and process parameters.
- Coordinate machining process development for CNC/VMC/HMC/turning operations.
- Plan and monitor prototype, casting and machining trials.
- Analyze casting defects, machining issues and dimensional deviations and drive corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plan, Work Instructions and other NPD documents.
- Coordinate APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA and SPC activities.
- Work closely with Design, Quality, Production, Tool Room, Purchase and Suppliers.
- Coordinate with customers for technical clarifications, drawing changes and sample approvals.
- Track development timelines,



tooling status, trials and customer submissions.
- Support cost reduction, value engineering and process optimization initiatives.
- Ensure timely completion of development projects and smooth handover to Production.

Required Skills
- Robust knowledge of automotive casting and machining processes.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Knowledge of CNC/VMC/HMC machining and process planning.
- Knowledge of casting defects, tooling and process development.
- Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA and SPC.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 will be an advantage.
- Good coordination, problem-solving and project management skills.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD / SolidWorks / CATIA / NX preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
