Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Manager – Legal & Compliance to lead our legal, regulatory, and corporate governance functions. The ideal candidate will ensure strict adherence to RBI regulations, manage digital and co-lending legal frameworks, oversee contract management, and manage company litigation.

Key Responsibilities
- Contract & Legal Advisory: Draft, review, and finalize loan, co-lending, FLDG/DLG, LSP, vendor, SaaS, and IT partnership agreements. Maintain a centralized legal repository.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure 100% adherence to RBI guidelines (Digital Lending Guidelines, SBR, FPC, KYC/AML, Outsourcing) and maintain the company's Compliance Calendar and regulatory filings.
- Corporate Governance & Audits: Support Board/Committee meetings,



ensure Companies Act compliance, and lead RBI inspections, internal/external audits, and secretarial reviews.
- Litigation & Risk Management: Manage legal notices, recovery proceedings, consumer disputes, and arbitration while liaising with external legal counsel.
- Policy Management: Formulate and update compliance policies (KYC/AML, Co-Lending, Digital Lending, Fair Practices Code, Recovery, Information Security).

Desired Candidate Profile
- Experience: 8–10 years of post-qualification experience in Legal & Compliance, with at least 5 years strictly within an RBI-regulated NBFC. Experience in FinTech, Digital Lending, or Retail Lending is highly preferred.
- Education: LL.B. is mandatory. CS or LL.M. is a strong plus.
- Domain Knowledge: In-depth understanding of RBI Master Directions for NBFCs, Scale-Based Regulation (SBR), Digital Lending Guidelines, DLG framework, Companies Act 2013, KYC/A
