Role & responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring quality and reliability of vehicle manufacturing processes by monitoring production activities, identifying process-related quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and driving continuous improvement through PDCA methodology.

Preferred candidate profile
- Strong understanding of automotive/vehicle manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Quality and Quality Control systems.
- Good understanding of PDCA, 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Knowledge of process control, inspection methods, defect analysis, and corrective actions.
- Ability to analyze manufacturing data and identify process trends.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.




- Valuable coordination and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, and continuous improvement is preferred.
- Knowledge of Control Plan, PFMEA, SOP/WI, and process audit is an advantage.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Reduction in manufacturing defects and rejection.
- Reduction in rework and scrap.
- Improvement in First Pass Yield (FPY).
- Closure of quality issues within defined timelines.
- Reduction in repeat/recurring defects.
- Improvement in process capability and manufacturing quality.
- Successful implementation of PDCA and continuous improvement projects.
