Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our Payments Engineering team, working on a high-volume payment gateway platform. This role blends hands-on development, production support, and technical leadership, with deep involvement in payment network integrations and systems modernization.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support payment gateway integrations, resolving merchant integration issues, transaction failures, and production bugs on a high-volume platform
- Design and implement integrations with external payment networks and financial systems, covering authorization, reversal, refund, and settlement flows.
- Lead modernization initiatives, re-architecting legacy Windows Services into scalable ASP.NET Core microservices.
- Support merchant UAT and production onboarding for payment gateway integrations.
- Manage payment network certificate renewals (EMVCO, Mastercard, Visa LOA) and ensure ongoing compliance with network requirements.
- Mentor junior developers,



providing technical guidance during requirement analysis, design, and implementation.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in .NET / ASP.NET Core development, with proven experience building or maintaining microservices.
- Hands-on experience with payment gateway systems, transaction processing, and financial system integrations.
- Familiarity with payment network standards and certifications (EMVCO, Mastercard, Visa) is highly desirable.
- Experience providing production support in a high-availability, high-volume environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex transaction and integration issues.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience supporting external merchant/client onboarding

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
