Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced R&D; Manager to lead the research, formulation, development, testing, and commercialization of cosmetic and personal care products. The candidate will be responsible for developing cutting-edge, stable, safe, cost-effective, and commercially viable formulations while ensuring compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Development & Formulation
- Lead the development of new cosmetic, skincare, haircare, and personal care formulations.
- Develop formulations from concept to pilot batch and commercial production.
- Select suitable raw materials, active ingredients, preservatives, fragrances, colors, and functional ingredients.
- Optimize formulations for performance, stability, texture, appearance,



fragrance, and consumer acceptance.
- Conduct reformulation and improvement of existing products.

2. R&D; Trials & Scale-Up
- Plan and execute laboratory and pilot-scale trials.
- Coordinate scale-up trials with Production, QA, QC, and Manufacturing teams.
- Identify and resolve formulation and process-related issues during scale-up.
- Ensure successful transfer of approved formulations from R&D; to production.

3. Stability & Compatibility Testing
- Design and monitor stability studies for developed products.
- Evaluate physical, chemical, microbiological, and packaging compatibility parameters.
- Analyze stability results and recommend corrective actions where required.

4. Raw Material & Vendor Evaluation
- Evaluate new raw materials and alternative ingredients.
- Work with Purchase and QC teams for raw material qualification.
