EDUCATION
- Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline CERTIFICATIONS

- Financial Services preferred but not required
- Cloud experience, preferably in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box)
- Experience with monitoring systems
- Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, Python, or C# including object-oriented design FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
- Experience with the administration and performance tuning of application stacks (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, Ruby, NGINX)
- Solid scripting skills in one of the following: Java, Python, C# (.NET)
- Robust experience with server side programming, language agnostic
- Solid networking knowledge (Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) network layers, Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP))
- Experience with the administration and performance tuning of application stacks (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, NGINX)
- Full life-cycle development in a commercial environmen
