Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities:

Owns shared infrastructure, environments, monitoring

Executing deployments on shared environments after Dev-Tech Leaders code review

Executing DB restores on shared environments

Raising technical tickets to GW about current environments or shared components

Administration of new or existing Active Directory groups with Guidewire and Service Desk

Platform communication regarding cloud standards changes.

Informing development teams about maintenance windows and platform incidents, security patches

Setting the data masking configuration.

Test environment setup with initial troubleshooting.

Variables, secrets, storage access (i.e. S3 bucket), certificates management

Building of datadog dashboards

Proactive monitoring of datadog





Technical Skills & capabilities

Hands on experience with CI/CD pipelines & pipeline configuration

Hands on experience managing build artifacts, environment promotion

Hands of experience with AWS Cloud platform

Hands on experience of secrets management ideally with CyberArk

Experience building dashboards and metrics in monitoring tools such as Datadog

Secure deployment practices

GW certification

Preferred: AWS or Azure cert / knowledge,

Note: Insurance or P&C; insurance or Guidewire experience must and should.
