We are seeking an experienced Python Engineer with an exceptional command of Python and structural system design. You will build and maintain high-performance microservices where data validation, strict typing, and explicit schemas are foundational. Working closely with our core engineering group, you will design robust components tailored for an on-premises infrastructure workplace, ensuring high reliability, clear code organization, and flawless execution.
Key Responsibilities
Core Python Development
Structure complex coding concepts and business workflows into clean, maintainable, and modular Python applications.
Design robust application logic with an emphasis on language features, readability, and optimal performance design patterns.
Refactor and scale existing backend components to maintain low technical debt and clean internal APIs.
Type Safety & Schema Validation
Implement strict runtime type checking and data validation strategies leveraging strong typing paradigms.
Design and enforce data contracts across service boundaries using Pydantic for bulletproof input/output validation.
Maintain comprehensive type definitions to improve developer experience, code completion, and early error detection.
Microservices & Infrastructure Management
Build, deploy, and scale decoupled microservices where services communicate through well-defined schemas and types.
Manage and optimize applications running on on-premises infrastructure, tuning resource utilization, networking, and local system constraints.
Messaging & Integration (Optional/Nice-to-Have)
Integrate message queuing systems (such as Redis) for asynchronous task execution and event-driven workflows.
Ensure reliable payload delivery and robust error-handling mechanisms across distributed microservice boundaries.
