ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for acquiring new business, onboarding

customers, and ensuring successful adoption of the platform. Unlike a traditional sales role, this position requires ownership of the complete customer journey —from lead generation and client acquisition to platform onboarding, operational assistance, and long-term relationship management. You will work closely with both buyers and vendors and develop a thorough understanding of digital procurement and tender management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and acquire current buyers and vendors for the BharatTender platform.
- Generate leads through field visits, networking, referrals, cold outreach, and market research.
- Conduct meetings,



product demonstrations, and platform presentations.
- Build relationships with procurement teams, business owners, manufacturers, distributors, service providers, and enterprise customers.
- Convert qualified prospects into active platform users.
- Achieve monthly business development, onboarding, and revenue targets.
- Guide customers through the registration and onboarding process.
- Assist clients in understanding platform features and procurement workflows.
- Ensure successful activation and continued engagement of onboarded customers.
- Maintain regular follow-ups and build long-term customer relationships.

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Graduate in any discipline.
- Hands-on experience in field sales and client meetings.
- Experience in lead generation and customer acquisition.
- Exposure to B2B customer relationship management.
