We are seeking a skilled Backend/API Developer with a strong background in Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) solutions. The ideal candidate will have 5 7 years of experience in backend development and API integration, with a proven track record of delivering high quality software solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs that support our business applications and enhance our CPQ capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs that meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for CPQ solutions.
- Implement and optimize CPQ processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends related to backend development and CPQ.
- Document development processes, code changes, and system configurations.
Mandatory Skills:
- Robust knowledge and experience with CPQ solutions.
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
- Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of front end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Experience in working with microservices architecture.
- Understanding of security best practices in API development.
