Job Summary
As a Mechanical Engineer at Rajuri Steel, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of our Steel Melt Shop (SMS), Rolling Mill, CCM, Quality, Stores, and Purchase departments. You will be responsible for the design, maintenance, and improvement of mechanical systems and equipment to support our production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Steel Melt Shop (SMS):
- Design, install, and maintain mechanical systems for the steel melting process.
- Ensure the efficient operation of furnaces, ladles, and other related equipment.
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Rolling Mill:
- Oversee the mechanical aspects of rolling mill operations.
- Optimize rolling mill processes for improved performance and quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly to maintain production flow.
- Continuous Casting Machine (CCM):
- Maintain and improve the mechanical systems of the Continuous Casting Machine.
- Ensure smooth and continuous casting operations with minimal interruptions.
- Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades to enhance equipment reliability.
- Quality:
- Collaborate with the quality department to ensure mechanical systems meet quality standards.
- Implement quality control measures and improve mechanical processes.
- Analyze mechanical failures and develop corrective actions.
- Stores and Purchase:
- Coordinate with the stores and purchase department to ensure the availability of necessary mechanical parts and equipment.
