The QMS Executive is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards. The role ensures compliance with quality procedures, documentation control, internal audits, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement initiatives across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Management System
- Maintain and update the organization's Quality Management System documentation.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements and company quality procedures.
- Prepare, review, and control Quality Manuals, SOPs, Work Instructions, Policies, and Formats.
- Monitor document revisions and maintain document control records.
2. Internal Audits
- Plan and conduct internal quality audits.
- Prepare audit schedules and audit reports.
- Identify non-conformities and ensure timely closure.
- Verify implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.
3. CAPA Management
- Investigate quality issues and root causes.
- Initiate and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Track CAPA effectiveness and maintain related records.
4. Quality Documentation
- Maintain quality records as per ISO requirements.
- Ensure all departments follow approved documentation.
- Archive and retrieve quality documents as required.
5. Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Support Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Monitor process performance and recommend improvements.
6. Customer & Supplier Quality
- Handle customer complaints related to quality.
- Coordinate investigations and corrective actions.
- Support supplier quality evaluations and audits.
7. Management Review
- Prepare data and reports for Management Review Meetings (MRM).
- Present quality KPIs and improvement status.
- Follow up on action items from management reviews.
