We are looking for a well-organized and service-oriented Librarian to manage the day-to-day operations of the library, maintain library resources, assist students and faculty with information needs, and ensure an effective and welcoming learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations and activities of the library.
- Maintain and organize books, journals, periodicals, reference materials, and digital resources.
- Handle library circulation, including issue, return, renewal, and reservation of books.
- Maintain accurate records of library resources, memberships, and transactions.
- Assist students, faculty, and staff in locating books and relevant information.
- Guide users in using library databases, e-resources, catalogues, and online research tools.
- Conduct regular stock verification and identify damaged, missing, or outdated resources.
- Assist in the selection and procurement of recent books and other library materials.
- Maintain proper classification, cataloguing, labeling, and shelving of resources.
- Ensure a clean, organized,



and quiet environment within the library.
- Promote reading habits and organize library-related activities, exhibitions, and events.
- Prepare regular reports on library usage, circulation, stock, and other activities.
- Ensure compliance with institutional library policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with faculty members to support academic and research requirements.
- Perform other library-related duties assigned by the management.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Library Science / Library & Information Science (BLIS/MLIS).
- Relevant experience in a school, college, university, or institutional library is preferred.
- Knowledge of library management systems and digital library resources.
- Valuable computer skills, including MS Office and online research tools.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
