Roles & Responsibilities:

Tool Management
- Material Receipt, inspection and storage cutting tools, inserts, holders, fixtures, gauges, and consumables.
- Issue tools and equipment to machine operators as per requirements.
- Monitor tool consumption and tool life records.
- Ensure proper storage and identification of tools.

Inventory Control
- Maintain accurate tool inventory records.
- Conduct periodic stock verification and reconciliation.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels.
- Prepare tool requirement reports and purchase requisitions.
- Control obsolete, damaged, and expired inventory.

Documentation & Record Keeping
- Maintain tool issue and return registers.
- Update SAP, Excel, or inventory management systems.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Maintain tooling consumption record.





Procurement Coordination
- Coordinate with the purchase department for tool procurement.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding tool deliveries.
- Compare quotations and maintain vendor records when required.

Calibration & Maintenance
- Maintain records of measuring instruments and gauges.
- Coordinate calibration schedules with quality departments.
- Ensure tools and measuring instruments are in good working condition.

Defined competencies:

- Knowledge of Auto CAD.
- Knowledge of manufacturing process for engineering industry
- Knowledge of SAP-PP Module and MS Office
