Perform in-process inspection on CNC, VMC, Lathe, and welding operations using approved drawings and SOPs.Verify dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish using calibrated instruments including Vernier, Micrometer, Thread Gauges, Dial Indicators, Surface Roughness Tester, CMM, and VMMPerform visual and dimensional inspections on parts during key process stages.Monitor and verify process control parameters in coordination with shift engineers.Document inspection observations, rejections, and approvals in the Google Sheet-based tracking system. Escalate major deviations to Quality Incharge and seek approval for job stoppage if required. Verify conformance to critical parameters for turned, milled, welded,
and machined surfacesEnsure proper implementation of hold/release status on non-conforming items.Support production team with real-time feedback and dimensional clarifications.Initiate RCA and CAPA process for recurring in-process defects.Participate in daily huddles and provide updates on in-process quality issues. Verify stage inspection plans and maintain proper inspection documentation Support training of operators and junior quality staff in shopfloor inspection practices.
