Role & responsibilities:
- Lead interior design projects from concept development through project completion.
- Understand client requirements and develop design concepts and final design briefs in consultation with clients.
- Develop mood boards, furniture layouts, space plans and design development.
- Review and coordinate design drawings and documentation to ensure design intent is maintained.
- Select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture and material palettes considering functionality, technical requirements and project budgets.
- Collaborate with 3D designers/visualization teams to create client presentations and design visuals.
- Communicate design solutions effectively to design and construction teams for seamless execution.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Procurement and Construction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure projects are delivered within defined timelines,
budgets and quality standards.
- Participate in site coordination and project staging to ensure proper implementation of the design.
Preferred candidate profile:
- 10-15 years of relevant Interior Design experience.
- B.Arch / Bachelors in Interior Design.
- Strong experience in Workplace / Corporate / Commercial Interiors, with exposure to Hospitality or Residential projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Solid understanding of space planning, design development, material selection and documentation.
- Experience managing projects end-to-end and coordinating with clients, design, procurement and construction teams.
- Strong communication, collaboration and project management skills.
