Key Responsibilities:
- Operate VMC machines safely and efficiently.
- Set jobs, tools, fixtures and work offsets as per the machining requirements.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and machining instructions.
- Perform tool setting, tool offset correction and job setting.
- Load and unload components accurately.
- Monitor machine parameters and machining operations.
- Check component dimensions using vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge and other measuring instruments.
- Maintain daily production records.
- Follow safety procedures and 5S standards.
- Report machine breakdowns to maintenance team.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of VMC machine operation and setting.
- Basic knowledge of CNC/VMC programming and G-code/M-code.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, tool holders and fixtures.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments.
- Good understanding of quality and safety requirements.
Qualification:
- ITI / Diploma & BE
- 0–8 years experience in CNC/VMC machine operation
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
