Job Title: Fabric Manager

Location: Karur, Tamil Nadu

Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹40,000/month

Experience: 5–8 Years

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Fabric Manager with strong knowledge of yarn, weaving, fabric construction, dyeing and processing. The candidate will be responsible for fabric planning, quality, availability and coordination with production and supplier teams.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan fabric requirements based on production and orders.

* Coordinate with Yarn, Weaving, Processing, Production, Purchase and Stores teams.

* Monitor fabric quality, stock, shortages and delivery schedules.

* Check fabric specifications including GSM, width, EPI/PPI, shrinkage and weave construction.

* Identify and resolve fabric defects and quality issues.

* Coordinate with suppliers for production, quality and delivery.





* Monitor fabric consumption, wastage and utilisation.

* Maintain fabric stock, requirement and production reports.

Required Skills:

* Robust knowledge of woven fabrics and textile manufacturing.

* Good understanding of yarn types, yarn count, ring-spun and OE yarn.

* Knowledge of weaving, dyeing and fabric processing.

* Fabric quality inspection and defect identification.

* Good planning, coordination and supplier management skills.

* Knowledge of fabric consumption and costing.

* Basic Excel and reporting skills.
