Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Lab / QC Assistant with 3–5 years of experience in civil construction. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in material testing, quality inspections, maintaining test records, and ensuring construction materials and activities meet project specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in testing of construction materials such as cement, sand, aggregate, concrete, soil, etc.
- Conduct and assist with field and laboratory tests as per approved procedures and standards.
- Collect and prepare samples for laboratory testing.
- Maintain proper records of test results and quality reports.
- Assist the QC Engineer in site inspections and quality control activities.
- Monitor the quality of incoming construction materials.
- Ensure testing equipment and laboratory instruments are properly maintained and calibrated.
- Identify quality issues and report them to the QC Engineer.




- Ensure testing and inspection activities are carried out as per project specifications and applicable standards.
- Maintain proper laboratory housekeeping and safety practices.

Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification.
- 3–5 years of experience in Civil Construction / QA-QC / Material Testing Laboratory.
- Valuable knowledge of concrete, aggregate, soil, cement, and other construction material testing.
- Knowledge of relevant IS codes and testing procedures will be an advantage.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work at project sites and construction laboratories.
