Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage daily housekeeping operations in the hospital
- Allocate duties and monitor housekeeping staff performance
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in wards, patient rooms, OPD, corridors and common areas
- Ensure proper cleaning, sanitization and infection-control practices
- Conduct regular rounds and cleanliness inspections
- Monitor attendance, duty rosters and staff discipline
- Manage housekeeping materials, chemicals and equipment
- Coordinate with hospital administration and other departments for housekeeping requirements
- Handle housekeeping-related complaints and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain daily checklists, inspection reports and housekeeping records
- Train and guide housekeeping staff on proper cleaning and safety procedures
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in hospital housekeeping/supervision preferred
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage housekeeping staff effectively
- Knowledge of hospital hygiene and infection-control procedures
- Responsible, punctual and hardworking
