ob Responsibilities
- Install and configure home theatre systems, speakers, amplifiers, AV receivers and sound systems.
- Install ceiling, wall-mounted and floor-standing speakers.
- Handle speaker wiring, cable routing and proper connections.
- Install and set up TV, projector and home theatre equipment.
- Test audio and video systems after installation.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic audio, wiring and connectivity issues.
- Ensure neat and safe cable management.
- Visit customer sites for installation, servicing and maintenance.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager/Reporting Manager regarding site work.
- Handle tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Maintain proper installation quality and complete work within the given timeline.
- Prepare basic installation reports and update work status.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of audio/video systems and electrical wiring.
- Experience with speaker installation and cable termination.
- Ability to read basic wiring/layout drawings.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable travelling to customer/project locations.
- Positive communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to work at heights and in different site conditions.
