About NAP
NAP is a strategic design and positioning partner working with SaaS founders and early-stage startups. We're building out a YouTube presence to share our thinking on differentiation, positioning, and product strategy. And we need an editor who can turn raw footage into content people actually watch to the end.
The role
We're looking for a freelance video editor to handle post-production on our YouTube series, turning raw clips and studio footage into polished, retention-focused videos. This is a project-based engagement with the opportunity for an ongoing relationship if it's a good fit.
What you'll do
- Edit long-form and short-form YouTube content from raw footages
- Structure cuts around pacing, hooks, and retention (the video needs to hold attention)
- Add captions, basic motion graphics, and sound design where needed
- Work independently from a brief,
with light rounds of revision
What we're looking for
- Proven experience editing for YouTube specifically, not just general video editing
- A strong sense of pacing and what keeps viewers watching
- Comfort working solo on a project basis, with minimal hand-holding
- A portfolio that shows range and attention to detail
Valuable to have
- Experience editing for B2B, founder, or business content
- Familiarity with batching workflows for multi-episode series
