Role & responsibilities

1. Lead and manage the QA team comprising incoming, in-process, and final inspectors, along with a documentation team.

2. Ensure implementation and adherence to QA plans and procedures as per customer requirements and internal quality standards.

3. Approve and monitor QAPs, WPS, PQR, NDT, and other compliance documentation required for inspection and audit.

4. Conduct quality reviews of Non-Conformities (NCRs) using trend analysis and ensure preventive and corrective actions (CAPA) are initiated

5. Ensure incoming material and in-process inspections are done as per defined calibration standards and documentation protocols

6. Approve inspection reports and release inspection certificates for accepted products

7.Lead customer complaint investigation and resolution process, including RCA and closure.

8. Manage external audits, third-party inspections,



and customer audits; ensure timely and accurate documentation.

9. Lead weekly Quality Performance Review meetings with cross-functional teams.

10. Own the ISO, EIL, NPCIL, and API audit readiness and compliance.

11. Support Design and Production in understanding inspection issues and drive problem resolution.

12. Coach team members in problem-solving, analytical skills, and documentation accuracy.

13. Drive reduction in % rework, % rejection, and customer complaints through proactive quality interventions.

14. Ensure type testing is carried out in compliance with ASTM F1387 (Mandatory and Supplementary), BS4368 Part IV, ISO 15587, ISO 15848, ECE R 110.
